3137146 - External item not reflecting in Order management

After Recording Learning for an External Item which has Cost details a Order number for the record does not appear in Order Management.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning - All Supported Versions

1. Access Learning Admin>Manage User Learning>Add Learning History with Finance>
2. Select External Item and Enter the required fields including Default Price
3. Add User and confirm.
4. Once created then go to Finance>Financial Transactions and search for this transaction and you will see no ORD Number for that transaction 

Product Management have advised that this is currently expected behaviour of the system:

Essentially no financial functionality is supported for an Item with classification External Course as the expectation is that payment is arranged directly with the OCN vendor.
