3138028 - Syntax error in program SAPLSDTA aborts job RDDEXECL (XPRAS_SHD_AIMMERGE)

• During an upgrade, SUM stops at phase MAIN_SHDIMP/SUBMOD_SHD2_RUN/XPRAS_SHD_AIMMERGE due to job RDDEXECL getting canceled.
• Checking the job log of RDDEXECL, you find entries similar to the following:

• When clicking in the SYNTAX_ERROR (see ST22) line above or checking ST22, you find a syntax error similar to the below:

       Syntax error in program "SAPLSDTA".
  
  What happened?
  
       Error in the ABAP application program.
       The current ABAP program "RSSCD000" had to be terminated because it found a statement that could not be executed.
       In include "LSDTAU04", in line 88 of program "SAPLSDTA", the following syntax errors have occurred:
       Different number of parameters in FORM and PERFORM (routine: TABL_SETACTIVATION, number of formal parameters: 9, number of actual parameters: 10).

• Checking the phase PREP_EXTENSION/BIND_PATCH, you find a Transport Request provided that modifies/changes the program SAPLSDTA.
