Symptom
When creating Visits from Visits Workcenter, the Attendees are not being automatically determined.
Environment
SAP Cloud for Customer
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to the Visits work centre view;
- Create a visit and add an Account;
- A contact person from Account is not automatically added as "Attendee".
Cause
This is the expected behavior.
Resolution
Attendees are only automatically determined in case you create the Visits from Leads or Opportunities.
If this determination is not happening, please check if scoping question "Would you like to disable automatic determinations of attendees/participants for activities created from accounts, leads and opportunities?" is checked.
If the question is scoped, the determination for Visits created from these objects will not happen.
Steps to scope and Configure
- Go to the Business Configuration work centre
- Go to the Implementation Projects view.
- Select your project and navigate to Edit Project Scope > Questions > Sales > Account and Activity Management > Activity Management Activity Attendees.
- Select the In Scope checkbox for the scoping question: Would you like to disable automatic determinations of attendees/participants for activities created from leads and opportunities?
Note: In the scoping question, you see "Would you like to disable automatic determinations..... created from accounts.....", however this scoping question does NOT apply to the Accounts scenario.
