3138584 - An Error Occured When Schedule General Ledger Jobs - Automatic Clearing - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• Use App Schedule General Ledger Jobs to preform "Automatic Clearing" or "GR/IR Automatic Clearing With Extended OIM" template. An error in the log states "An error occurred. Please create an case on component FI."
• The message is not clear and does not provide clear information on what has occurred.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open App "Schedule General Ledger Jobs".
2. Add the job template: "Automatic Clearing" or "GR/IR Automatic Clearing With Extended OIM".
3. Enter the input parameters.
4. Run the job (immediately or at a certain date in the future.)
5. Check the error log of the job.
6. The error message: "An error occurred. Please create an case on component FI." is prompted.

It's suggested to Click "Check" button before go ahead and schedule the job.
Possible root causes are list below:

1. Determination of the clearing date is not clear.
2. Clearing date is before the first day of the posting dates.
3. Posting period &1 &2 is not open for variant &4 and account category &3. 
   The clearing date is Posting Date in the Document. When entering documents, the system checks whether the posting date entered is allowed by means of the posting period permitted.
4. Accounts have not been selected.

Please correct the parameters accordingly once the root cause determined:

1. Specify a clearing date;
2. As first day of the posting dates, enter a date before the clearing date;
3. Ensure that the clearing date is on open periods.
4. Select at least one account.
