3138592 - Known Issues with the EarlyWatch Alert (EWA)

All active or ongoing Known Issues with the EWA are maintained here:

1. While reviewing EarlyWatch reports you are recognizing the following statement in a sub chapter of section "Service Data Quality and Service Readiness": MM Checks requiring online collectors are missing... --> please see 3363128
2. EWA data download collection session on managed system dump with GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED in /SDF/SAPLEWA and/or in the SDCCN Task log of the data download you can see this message: SDCCN_CUSTOMIZING : Field symbol has not been assigned yet. 
3. EWA session dumps with BCD_BADDATA in  /1AGS/AEW_DBORA____________066
4. EWA session not processed due to runtime error BCD_ZERODIVIDE - Exception: CX_SY_ZERODIVIDE in program /1AGS/AEA_FI_______________018
5. EWA session not processed due to SYNTAX_ERROR in program /1AGS/AUI_TECHNOLOGIES_____003
6. HANA EWA is rated red due to missing information regarding Log Backups
7. The EWA of a Managed System shows the following section and statements: No Download Data for Number Ranges, Critical Number Ranges
8. EWM checks appear in the EWA for a system without EWM functionalities being used.
9. In section 3 of the EWA report, the check: "Configuring <SID> for SAP Note Assistant" shows a yellow rating () although text in that section only provides a blue informational alert ().
10. Critical Issue:  After upgrade to Solution Manager 7.2 SP13, the Service Content Update (SCU) is no longer used to generate EarlyWatch Alert (EWA) reports.  
11. The collection of parameter data (ST-A/PI) is unavailable for your session. Run the relevant script attached to SAP Note 1171650 for the DB recommendations.
12. Parameter icm/HTTP/support_http2 in section 18.1.4 HTTP/2 Support not recognized correctly.
13. Error transferring session data to SAP-SUPPORT_PORTAL in transaction SDCCN > No START tag has been found in downloads SAP-SUPPORT_PARCELBOX
14. Wrong Alert: "The performance overview section contains erroneous data due to an overflow caused by a kernel bug.ST-PI function: SAPWL_WORKLOAD_GET_SUMMARY_I_W used in check 'Workload Summary of SID'. " But the Kernel of the managed system is already higher as per SAP Note 2241334   
15. "Recommended background Jobs are not set up" is showing wrong jobs, also if they are already scheduled --> this is an error and will be fixed.
16. "DB size" in section "Performance Indicators" is captured from the first day of the month, and this results in misleading data in EWA report if DB size changes. 
17. Error message Function module MAIUDM_DSA_READ does not exist and Dump CX_DSVAS_API_CHECK_INSTANCE CL_DSVAS_PROC_ERROR_HANDLER===CP  , EWA wasn't created --> Solution new SCU need to be downloaded (2732608 How to replace the Service Content (AGS_UPDATE))
18. A chapter called "Business Key Figures" , "BKF" or "Business Process Analytics", which can only be activated in Solution Manager, appears erroneously in EWAs processed at SAP. Business Key Figures data only exists for ERP and S/4HANA systems.
19. Error "GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED" occurs while generating EWA report
20. Wrong alert: the SAP_UI 755 is End of Maintenance on 12/31/2023.
21. Misleading value in EWA chapter Size of Database Schemas for HANA database.
