3138863 - Enterprise authentication could not log you on. Please make sure your logon information is correct. (FWB 00008) when accessing BI Admin Console

Symptom

  • Encountered below error when entering credentials for a user for a landscape in BI Administation Console -> Landscape Management
    "Enterprise authentication could not log you on. Please make sure your logon information is correct. (FWB 00008)"

  • The same credentials used are valid for Central Management Console (CMC) and BI Launch pad (BILP)
  • The same error regarding Enterprise Authentication occurs even if a different authentication type is selected (eg Windows AD)
