3139458 - Connections cannot be dropped - SAP IQ

Symptom

  • IQ connections with open cursor cannot be dropped. 
  • These connections come from an SAP Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) server.
  • Client processes in ASE cannot be killed with the regular KILL command.
  • We didn't try to kill client processes with the WITH FORCE option in SAP ASE.
