How to Search Inactive users/future hires in Legacy People Search
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
Reproducing the Issue
- Enable the option Company System and Logo Settings > Show inactive user in people search (requires Role-based Permissions)
- Search for an inactive user in the Global search bar
- Unable to find any inactive or future hires
Cause
The search for inactive users now also requires RBP
Resolution
Along with the option Company System and Logo Settings > Show inactive user in people search (requires Role-based Permissions)
Ensure the "Search" permission is granted to the correct target group users.
The permission Manage Recruits or Manage Hires > Include Inactive Employees in the search is also required
NOTE: The settings under "Company System and Logo Settings > Show inactive user in people search" is removed from Enhanced People Search and is not applicable for Enhanced People Search.
