Symptom

HDBLCM upgrade failed with any of below errors:

  • Selected component SAP HANA Cockpit Stack is not compatible with <Component> version '***'. The SAP HANA Cockpit Stack '***' requires <Component> version *** 
  • An already installed component SAP HANA Cockpit Stack is not compatible with <Component> version '***'. The SAP HANA Cockpit Stack '***' requires <Component> version ***.
  • Installation failed in validation: Cannot downgrade software component <Component> (sap.com). Installed version: ***, version to be installed: ***.

<Component> could be "XSAC_HRTT", or "XSAC_PORTAL_SERV", or "XSAC_XSA_COCKPIT".
'***' is the version of HANA Cockpit or component.
