3140439 - Job failed when using TGM FTP Data Import Job for Goal Import

When using the TGM FTP Data Import Job for the Update/Delete goal ,the Job failed. When checked via Provisioning, in Monitor Job, Job failed because of error KB-1.

FTP Data Import job tool is a legacy tool in Provisioning to import the goals and it has a performance issue when using large number of records for processing .

We recommend using the official import tool - Beta Goal Import (Admin Centre--->Beta Goal Import) which has a limit of 30k records and potentially has better performance. Please do not mix FTP Data Import with Beta Goal Import.

• Our System is not designed FTP Data Import job to work with any autoscript/API & integrating it with the Provisioning tool FTP Data Import causes system overload and performance issue.
• Due to the large amount of parallel jobs running for FTP Data Import job to process large amount of goals, the jobs might have failed.

• We recommend using the official Goal import tool - Beta Goal Import
• Incase customers want to use any autoscript/3^rd party integrations where they want to autorun the job, we recommend them to split large amount of goal data into smaller files to avoid overload our job-server/job failing.
• Customers can also seek options to integrate their 3^rd party system with our public APIs directly. This way, they call the API directly through the 3^rd party system and do not need to go through FTP Data Import.
