3140815 - Cannot override the is-target field for Pay component XXXXX error while saving Global/Concurrent assignment

• Error occurred while saving Global Assignment
• Cannot override the is-target field for Pay component XXXXX
• Unable to add Global Assignment, upon clicking on submit facing error

• Global Assignment
• Concurrent Employment

1. Go to Employee Profile.
2. Take Action-> Add: Global Assignment.
3. Fill in the required details.
4. Upon clicking Submit
5. Shows error "Cannot override the is-target field for Pay component XXXXX"

• Go to Manage Business Configuration
• Select Compinfo element
• Check no field is enabled in compensation information portlet
• Select Pay component recurring element
• is-target field is not configured in pay component recurring portlet

• In order to submit Global assignment or Concurrent Employment at least one field in Compensation information should be enabled.
• If as per customer requirement if no field should be enabled in compensation information, you can hide field with permissions.
• As a work around, if you do not wish to enable field in Compensation information, then before submitting Global Assignment/Concurrent Employment remove the Pay components from Add GA/ Add CE page.
• Once Global Assignment/Concurrent Employment is submitted or approved later you can add pay components.
