3141250 - Discount Price Component For An Item Does Not Exist In Sales Quote Approval Process

Sales Quote approval process does not provide an option to define condition based on external discount price component of an item.

Prerequisite:-

Cloud for Customer Sales Quote uses external price from S4 HANA. Discount is added in sales quote in Cloud for customer.

User is defining an approval process for sales quote in cloud for customer.

1. Navigate to Administrator Work centre.
2. Go to Approval Processes.
3. Select the "Default approval process for Sales Quote" and click to copy.
4. At the bottom of the page, on Conditions tab, click to add group.
5. Search for the condition ZXXX, where ZXXX is the Discount Price component at item level coming from external system.
6. In dropdown list, discount price component at item level "ZXXX " is not available. 

Sales quote approval process, based on external discount price component irrespective of header or an item price component, is not supported.

This is known limitation. In Cloud for customer, only pricing related condition like the total amount is supported in approval process of sales quote.
