3141649 - Analyze the PRIV mode with kernel snapshot analyzer

Symptom

Many work processes are running into "PRIV Mode" like the following screenshot.

PRIV mode means sessions are using private memory (non-rollable), and need to stay attached to certain work processes. If many dialog work processes (sessions) are in PRIV mode, it means the number of DIA work processes is highly deducted and this could lead to performance issues for processing SAPGUI or RFC requests since the capacity of DIA work processes might be insufficient. This KBA provides some friendly tips and action plan items to analyze the PRIV mode or high extended memory (EM) usage with kernel snapshot analyzer (KBA 2640476).
