3141810 - E-mail address of an Employee added as Cc Recipient in an E-mail Template does not get updated after changing it within Employee's Profile - Recruiting Management

Symptom

When configuring E-mail Templates and selecting an Employee as the Cc, system registers this specific User's email. If this Employee changes the e-mail, system does not update the e-mail.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. When configuring a new E-mail Template, define a Cc by choosing an Employee:

  3. When returning to the E-mail Template, the old e-mail is still displayed:

Resolution

This is working as expected, following the system design. 

When configuring the E-mail Template and selecting the Cc, system will store that specific e-mail as a string to use as the Cc Recipient; therefore, that will be recorded as the value destined to be a Cc, which one is applied whenever using that Template.

As a workaround to fix it, it is recommended to adjust manually the new Employee's E-mail, by removing the Cc Recipient and adding it again.
