Symptom

The report Financial Plan and Release Version History shows the information message 'No report data available to display; check the selection' even when executed with all the required parameters filled.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Business Analytics work center.
  2. Go to the Design Reports view.
  3. Open the Financial Plan and Release Version History report (Report ID FINCACU20_Q0001).
  4. Enter necessary parameters such as Company and Set of Books.
  5. Execute the report.
  6. Notice the information message displayed: 

'No report data available to display; check the selection'

Cause

Active budget check is not scoped in the system.

Resolution

Active budget check is a pre-requisite and once it's scoped, relevant data is displayed for the Financial Plan and Release Version History report.
