3142375 - Message "Oops, looks like you aren’t part of the hierarchy. Please contact your admin to get assigned and start seeing some opportunities." in Pipeline Manager/Pipeline Flow view

Message "Oops, looks like you aren’t part of the hierarchy. Please contact your admin to get assigned and start seeing some opportunities." is shown when trying to access Pipeline Manager/Pipeline Flow in ISE Workcenter.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Navigate to Intelligent Sales Execution Workcenter.
2. Go to Pipeline Manager or Pipeline Flow views.
3. You can see that the message: "Oops, looks like you aren’t part of the hierarchy. Please contact your admin to get assigned and start seeing some opportunities." is shown in the table. 
4. Kindly note: The above steps are not relevant for KeyTest User, Support User or user impersonation scenarios.

In Intelligent Sales Execution, Opportunities are retrieved and displayed based on Organization/Territory hierarchy of logged in user. Hence if there is no Org/Territories in the System, the message above will appear, since the User will not be connected to any hierarchy.

To solve this issue, please check if the correct hierarchy is configured and make sure that the given user is part of it. Also please note that for employee, Primary needs to be checked on Sales Og for seeing org in the ISE. For manager, Primary check would be optional.

1. Go to Intelligent Sales Execution -> ISE Administration ->Forecast Hierarchy
2. From the Forecast Hierarchy dropdown, select the option Sales Unit Hierarchy/ Territory Hierarchy.
3. If Sales Unit Hierarchy is selected, your login user needs to be the manager or primary employee in a valid org unit which has sales function enabled.
4. Go to Organizational Management -> Org Structures .
5. Open your selected unit, go to Functions tab.
6. "Sales" function needs to be assigned at least.
7. This sales org needs to be valid.
8. Go to Employees tab.
9. Add your user as a manager or a primary employee
10. Every opportunity must be assigned to your sales unit in order to appear in the system.
11. If Territory Hierarchy is selected, your login user needs to be assigned either "owner / employee responsible" or "forecast team member" in a territory. Your logon user also need access assignment of sales territory work center view under sales work center.
