3142381 - ERROR #1027 in DSI with Kerberos enabled connection - SRS 16.0

Symptom

In some circumstances, the DSI with Kerberos enabled connection to a target server may fail with ERROR #1027:

ERROR #1027 USER(sa) - /generic/useful/cm.c(5372)
Open Client Client-Library error: Error: 67175468, Severity 4 -- 'ct_connect(): protocol specific layer: external error: The attempt to connect to the server failed.'.
