There are 2 notification that are not being triggered in the offboarding module:

• (OFB) Resignation Approval Message To Employee Template
• (OFB) Resignation Approval Message To Participants Template

When they should be triggered?

• The following are the trigger points when the emails are triggered:

(OFB) Resignation Approval Message To Participants Template - Notification to participants to start reviewing offboarding information of the terminated employee. The email is only triggered if the participants are to complete Employer Data Review step. Employer data review is controlled by the rule "ONB2_OFB_ManagerReviewCheck". Please note that if this rule has been set to false condition in your system, Employer Data Review is not triggered for the candidates. Since Employer Data Review is not triggered, the email Resignation Approval Message is also not triggered.

(OFB) Resignation Approval Message To Employee Template - Notification to the employee to start reviewing offboarding information. This email is only triggered if the Offboardee have to complete their Employee Data Review step. Employee Data Review is controlled via rule "SAP_ONB2_OFB_EmployeeReviewCheck". Please note that if this rule has been set to false condition in your system, Employee Data Review is not triggered for the candidates. Since Employee Data Review is not triggered, the email Resignation Approval Message is also not triggered.

• If you would like to ensure that the email is triggered then the Employee Review and Employer Review step is mandatory during offboarding process.
• There is no workaround for the same because the triggers for these emails are hard coded and cannot be manually triggered.
