Symptom

  • The message 'text' to client in an stored procedure is not displayed from output if executed from Perl:
  • Executing it through Perl: 
         @@version
         SAP IQ/16.1.040.1771/15866/P/SP04.10/Linux/Linux64 - x86_64 - 3.10.0-327/64bit/2021-08-19 11:35:26

  • When executing from DBISQL:
