3142790 - ASE dataserver process silently crashing without error on Windows - SAP ASE for Business Suite

On systems running SAP applications on SAP ASE database on Windows OS:

• Applications failing to connect to dataserver.
  
  • Following error can be reported at application level:
    
    • SQL error SQL code 30012 occurred while accessing table XXXXXXXXXXX
    • SQL error-SQL code-30046 occurred while accessing table "YYYYYYYYYY"
• dataserver process no longer exists at OS level.
• ASE errorlog does not contain corresponding SHUTDOWN records or any error messages 
• the last set of messages in the ASE errorlog before the ASE dataserver process terminates silently, refer to REORGs on saptools' tables. For eg:
  
          server  REORG REBUILD of index 'DBH_STG_TABLES~1' on table 'DBH_STG_TABLES' in database 'saptools' completed.

• SAP Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) 16.0 SP03 and SP04 for Business Suite
• Windows OS
