3142843 - Unexpected Outage: E-Verify System Down on January 24, 2022 - Onboarding

Symptom

  • The error A 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable appears when attempting to close the activity.
  • Error received when trying to refresh an open cases.

Resolution

The E-Verify Team has confirmed that the issue should now be resolved. Please see blogs below that provides information on the cause of the issue:

Please note that due to the unexpected outage some of the cases that will be initiated/submitted will experience a "Duplicate Case" panel. In this case the current workaround here is to add a comment "Technical Problem" and proceed on the E-Verify activities.
