3143133 - Error: "Start Date must not be later than End Date" During Replication of Employees from Success Factors to Business ByDesign

The data replication from SAP Success Factors to SAP Business ByDesign fails with the following error:

"Start Date must not be later than End Date"

1. Go to Master Data Replication work center.
2. Select Employees view.
3. Show Error Log List.
4. Find error(s) type "Start Date must not be later than End Date".

In the SAP Business ByDesign system, employee data is managed through multiple organizational assignments, including reporting line unit and job assignment. However, in the replication request, job-related data for employee(s) is not accurately maintained.

To prevent data from being overwritten, the system flags validity errors during replication.

To validate the solution, ensure that accurate data—including job assignments—is maintained in the SuccessFactors system for the affected employee(s). Once this is confirmed, the replication request should complete successfully.
