3143471 - Unable to Generate Time Data in HANA Studio or _SYS_BI.M_FISCAL_CALENDAR table shows unexpected values

Symptom

  • No variant shows after selecting schema or there is no option to select the Variant Schema and Variant attributes (drop down lists are empty) when using Generate Time Data with Calendar Type: Fiscal in SAP HANA Studio - SAP HANA Modeler.
  • After generating fisical calendar using "Generate Time Data", the fisical period shows unexpectedly in _SYS_BI.M_FISCAL_CALENDAR.
    E.g. Fiscal period of January is 1 but it should be 7.
