3143604 - "Too many open files" error results in CI-DS agent going down intermittently - SAP Cloud Integration for Data Services

Symptom

  • The CI-DS agent goes down and up randomly in CI-DS "Agents" tab.
  • The DSOnPremiseAgent_*.* log contains the below error:

    SEVERE: Exception in getting machine statistics from job server Too many open files java.net.SocketException: Too many open files

    Note: The DSOnPremiseAgent_*.* logs can be found in $LINK_DIR/log/DSoD/.
