3143707 - Error "The data action "XXX" couldn't run successfully on version "YYY". This data action tries to write data outside of the planning area of the target version." - SAP Analytics Cloud

After activating the option Optimize Recommended Planning Area from a model settings, the Data Action fails with the below error message:

"The data action "XXX" couldn't run successfully on version "YYY". This data action tries to write data outside of the planning area of the target version."

Afterwards removing the option Optimize Recommended Planning Area from the models and the data action still fail with the below error:

"The results of the data action "XXX" could not be published on version "YYY". You can still try to do a partial publish manually. You cannot publish the data changes because they are outside of the planning area filter applied to this version".

• SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

The Data Action first fails because it tries to change data outside the planning area which is the expected behavior. 
When turning off the planning area feature in the model, it is still enabled for this version which is mentioned in the error message.

Revert the private version then run the Data action again.
