3143765 - Upload documents to BILaunchpad is not possible

Symptom

When attempting to Upload any type of document to BILaunchpad, the browser may hang.   It is not possible to upload documents.

As reported by customer, this process-flow may have worked in earlier versions of BI Platform, such as 4.2  with Support Pack 8.

When using Chrome DEV Tools, you may see the following errors:

  • Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token ':'  portal/2110221952/In…/HelpFileMap.js:191  
  • Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 ()   jquery-3.3.1.js:1 
  • Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined  notification.js:7:236
  • Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'toLowerCase')
