3143930 - How to Change the Cash Flow Key for the Foreign Currency Remeasurement.

When you execute the foreign currency remeasurement run, in the Journal Entry posted, you see the cash flow key is shown as CF023 in the Item Details.

You would like to know how to change this.

SAP Business ByDesign 2205.

1. Go to General Ledger Work Center.
2. Go to Journal Entries View.
3. Find and open Journal Entry AAAA(AAAA is the ID of the Journal Entry) for foreign currency remeasurement run BBBB(BBBB is the ID of the run).
4. In the Item details for G/L Account CCCC(CCCC is the number of the G/L Account), you see the value of cash flow key is CF023.

Before the release of 2205, the cash flow key is missing in the Journal Entry posted when you execute the foreign currency remeasurement run.

After the release of 2205, there is one and only one cash flow key can be marked as FCR relevant, and CF023 is marked as FCR relevant by default.

To change the default Cash Flow Key for Foreign Currency Remeasurement:

1. Go to Business Configuration Work Center.
2. Go to Overview View.
3. Search and open Activity: Direct Cash Flow Statement - China.
4. The Foreign Currency Remeasurement (FCR) Indicator is checked for Cash Flow Key CF023 by default.
5. Uncheck it for CF023 and check the Cash Flow Key XXX (XXX is the ID of the Cash Flow Key)as your expectation.
6. Click Save and Close.
7. Then the system will use the Cash Flow Key XXX in the Journal Entry posted when you execute the foreign currency remeasurement run.

TIPs:

If the journal entry was created before the release of BYD 2205, there was no cash flow key in it. You can create manual Journal Entry Vouchers to adjust the values if required.
