3144097 - ABAP programming error - CONVT_NO_NUMBER in SM12/SMENQ

Symptom

 In the transaction SM12/SMENQ the following dump appears when trying to 'Search' lock objects on any Table with a user that has insufficient permissions:

CONVT_NO_NUMBER
RS_ENQ_ADMIN

Date and Time 27.01.2022 15:20:20 (UTC)

Short Text
"*" cannot be interpreted as a number

What happened?
Error in the ABAP application program.

The current ABAP program "RS_ENQ_ADMIN" had to be terminated because it found a
statement that could not be executed.

Error analysis
An attempt was made to interpret value "*" as a number.
As this value contravenes the rules for displaying numbers correctly,
this was not possible.
