3144227 - Report USA Withholding Tax - 1099 MISC did not return any data

In log the following messages are shown:

Correspondence 'CORRESPONDENCE' could not be generated.     
No items to report;Query DOC_SEL did not return any data.

There could be a number of causes:

• No withholding specific document 
  
  
• Document not cleared 
  For Example from Help Documentation Withholding Tax (1099-NEC) Report
  the following is stated:
  The withholding tax report is generated based on the information collected from supplier documents, for example, supplier cleared invoices, supplier credit memos, and open down payments.
  
  
• Document is available, clearing is done but wrong withholding tax codes are used

• Check Journal Entry, In app Check Withholding Tax Settings and Simulate Calculation, simulate a posted document
  
  
• In App Manage Supplier Line Items check status of journal Entry
  
  
• Use correct report for withholding tax codes for supplier.
