3144447 - Field not displayed in Embedded Component when using Mobile App with Smartphone

Symptom

When using the Mobile App with smartphone(iOS and Android), there are fields missing in an Embedded Component.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer Mobile App

Reproducing the Issue

  1. In desktop, got to embedded component and you will see columns/fields displayed
  2. Go to smartphone, you will only see the first 6 columns/fields displayed 

Cause

This is expected behavior.

Resolution

By design, only 6 columns in chunk view in smartphone are shown and by default the first 6 columns will be displayed. If you want a specific column displayed, you will need to model the Embedded Component to show the desired 6 columns in smartphone.
