3144575 - Multiple Candidate Profiles in RCM when Concurrent Employment is in place - RCM/EC


One employee has several different candidate profiles, one for each employment they have, when there should be only one.

  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central


As of now RCM doesn't natively support Concurrent Employment and/or Global Assignment. Because of that, when the employee has several employments, it will have several different candidate profiles as the relationship is 1 candidate profile to 1 user ID.

Since with global assignment you have multiple different IDs, that is why multiple candidate profiles are generated.


This is the system expected behavior. It's not possible to merge internal candidates, so a possible way to distinguish the candidate profiles is to create a report and include the Candidate ID, User Sys Id and Employee ID from the Candidate Table so you can see the different values and to which assignment each profile will refer to.
