3144704 - How to share a Story Report, and what are the different access levels available for sharing?

This KBA explains access levels available, when sharing a Story report to user/group/role.

• Analytics & Reporting  (Ad Hoc, YouCalc, ORD)
  • Story Reports

Prerequisites: 

• User should exist in SAC to be able to share the Story report to them. This can be verified using the Check Tool 
• User should have the Data Access permission (for each module) and Field Level Permissions (on EC & EP) to be able to see data in the Story
• User should have 'Create Story' permission on particular modules/schemas to be able to edit a Story's data source
  
  

Sharing a Story:

While Sharing Story report to other users, there are 3 options to choose from:

• Read - Gives user access to run the report
• Edit - Allows users to run, edit, rename, export, duplicate, and label the shared report.
• Full Access - Gives access to run, edit, delete, share, rename, duplicate, export, label and change author of the report.
  
  

Admin Permissions for Story:

• Reports Permission > Create Story: Allows you to create, edit, delete, share, import, export, duplicate, and add labels to Story reports. You can work with the data from schemas selected for this permission.
• Manage Dashboards/Reports > Story Admin: Allows you to manage all reports of type "Story". This permission also enables the "All Reports" tab in Report Center. 
• Reports Permission > Schedule Reports: Allows you to schedule "Story" type of reports.
