3144746 - Restart job restarts old messages after upgrade/update

• The Process Integration or Process Orchestration system is running in releases:
  • 7.31 SP23 or lower
  • 7.40 SP18 or lower
  • 7.50 SP13 or lower
• There is a Restart job scheduled in the system with the parameter MAX-RESTART set to a value higher than 0
• The system is upgraded/updated to:
  • 7.31 SP24 or higher
  • 7.40 SP19 or higher
  • 7.50 SP14 or higher
• After the upgrade/update, at the very first execution of the restart job, it selects and restart several old messages from the system (could be from days, months or even years ago)
• This could cause the system to process several more messages than the usual daily income messages, leading to several messages remaining in To Be Delivered status and overall performance problems, as the messages take a lot more time to be processed.
