Symptom

  • New Hire Activities Updated Emails being triggered on ONB Process start date change.
  • E-mails for the following tasks are triggered when the start date is changed:
    (Welcome Message, Buddy Assigned, Recommend Links, Prepare for Day One and Where To Go)

Reproducing the Issue

1. Initiate Onboarding for a candidate
2. The Tasks are incomplete and Change the start date for the candidate. E-mails for the following tasks are triggered: 
(Welcome Message, Buddy Assigned, Recommend People, Recommend Links, Prepare for Day One and Where To Go)

Resolution

  • This is a Known issue and the engineering team is working on the issue.
