3145085 - Error Warning : The message definition " " used in rule " " doesn’t exist. - Onboarding

When the candidate is trying to complete the Personal Data Collection step, the following error message appears "Warning : The message definition " " used in rule " " doesn’t exist. ". The same message does not appear when any user is trying to perform the step on behalf of the candidate.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding.

1. Access the instance as the Candidate
2. Click on the Personal Data Collection Tile
3. On one of the pages, the error will appear

This issue is related to a Message Rule, and Message Definition is a secured MDF Object, that needs to have the visibility as "Yes" to external users.

Is necessary to Set the external visibility of the object to yes, please follow the below steps:

1. Go to Admin Center
2. External user Visibility
3. Select Message Definition and click on run.
