3145324 - Unable to Perform Change of Stock for Externally-Owned Stock

In common task Change of Stock, you are unble to find some externally-owned stock.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Open conmon task Stock Overview.
2. Search product ABC in site DEF.
3. In the result, we can find a stock whose owner XYZ is external, and has a tagged inbound delivery GHI.
4. Open inbound delivery GHI, we can see it is a customer return delivery; open corresponding customer return notification JKL, under tab Line Items, we can see for corresponding line item, Follow-Up Activity is Repair at Own Service Center.
5. Internal Logistics - Change of Stock
6. Enter DEF into Site, tick the checkbox Externally-Owned Stock, enter XYZ into Owner ID.
7. In the below, click Add Row, enter ABC into Product ID, maintain other related fields, click Next, error triggered "No matching inventory items found".

The change of externally-owned stock (XOS) UI functionality only works for the XOS that isn’t tagged to a confirmed inbound delivery – what we call ad-hoc externally owned stock.

The stock tagged to confirmed inbound delivery is expected to follow the existing process for repair.
