3145395 - Jobs not posted on Stepstone.de even if credentials are correct - Recruiting Posting

My jobs are not posted on Stepstone.de job board because of the configuration error, but job board credentials are correct.

There may be an incorrect value in the field "Contract Product", the new company name transmitted to the job board could not be activated or the job board is returning a temporary connection (feed) error.

If you are sure that your job board credentials are correct and confirmed by Stepstone.de, but your job is rejected and displays a configuration error, the reason may be the incorrect value selected in the job board specific field "Contract Product".

If you select a value, for which you do not have a contract, the job board's API will return the error message "No valid contract".

Following values can be selected in the field:

• Select (15 days duration)
• Select Brand (15 days duration)
• Select Plus (30 days duration)
• Select Plus Brand (30 days duration)
• Pro (30 days duration)
• Pro Plus (30 days duration)
• Pro Ultimate (60 days duration)
• Pro XXL (up to 360 days duration)
• Pro Campus (30 days duration)

The selected value will take over the value set in the job board configuration (job posting duration).

Another reason why the error message "No valid contract" can be returned, is the new company name. When transmitting the new company name to StepStone, the job board needs to activate the mapping on their end. If the company name is not included in your contract (kindly check this with the job board), the job is rejected.

The end date of Stepstone.de will be at first set automatically to 30 days no matter the Stepstone contract selected by the recruiter. It is only after we receive the Stepstone.de feed response from our posting query that our system will update the end date in the job status table according to the end date provided in the response by Stepstone.de. If Recruiting Management end date is set before the Stepstone.de end date, the Recruiting Management will prevail in the Recruiting Posting job status table otherwise it will be the Stepstone.de end date displayed.

Also, sometimes we may experience a temporary connection (feed) error returned by the job board. In that case, once the error removed and jobs resent, they can be transmitted without any error.

Note: The Contract Product value cannot be changed once the job is active, as the job board do not allow that. Any change will put the posting in error.
