3145975 - C4C Calendar - No Refresh Button

Symptom

There is no option to refresh the C4C Calendar to display newest changes without changing the view (month to day view, for example).

When changing objects in the Calendar, the calendar event does not get immediately updated nor is there a calendar refresh button to trigger an update.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Calendar view
  2. Create an appointment/visit or similar
  3. Save
  4. Open the object quick view (QV) directly from the Calendar
  5. In the QV, make any change, for example, if the appointment/ visit was on a Monday, change the date/time from Monday to Tuesday
  6. Save.

The calendar event does not get immediately updated.

There is no option to refresh the calendar (no refresh button) to trigger an update.

Cause

The Appointment/ Visit QV runs on a different UI frame as the Calendar.

Changes from the QV will not automatically update the Calendar.

Resolution

This is the current expected system behaviour.
