Symptom
After a CronJob is triggered either manually or using a Cron expression, it does not actually execute.
From the top right Processes menu in Backoffice, the triggered CronJob does not appear.
The Cronjob can be found under > System > Background Processes > CronJobs, with NEW status and remains that way indefinitely.
This issue is intermittent and it is observed shortly after a restart. Similarly, a restart may also resolve the problem in some cases.
