Symptom

  • Error thrown for a specific user/work station - An error occurred while creating the workflow via 'Manage Workflows' app. The operation has been canceled. Cause: Process definition XML document does not fulfill the specification
  • Error occurs when saving 'Valid from' and 'Valid to' dates
  • ...is not a valid date with time in accordance with the XML format for ABAP
  • CX_ST_DESERIALIZATION_ERROR can be seen in the error details
  • An error occurred when deserializing in the simple transformation program SWF_FLEX_WORKFLOW_10
