3147090 - Job Requisition Reassignment - Removing approvers access - Recruiting Management

Symptom

In the past if a user was a job requisition approver and also had a specific role in the job requisition, after reassignment, the user was still able to see the job requisition. The access was still granted through the approver role.

This behavior changed, when reassigning the job requisition using the reassignment tool, the user will lose access to the job requisition.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Resolution

As part of the 2021 H2 release, a behavior change was implemented as part of the reassignment action. When reassigning the job requisition, if the user is an approver and holds only one specific recruiting role, after the reassignment the user will lose access to the job requisition.

Before the behavior change, after the reassignment, the user was still able to view and access job requisitions the user was an approver.

The user will lose access when using the Job Requisition Reassignment tool, see this article for more details: 2103300 - Reassign Job Requisition - Recruiting Management.

Note: Updating a role using the job requisition detail page does not produce the same behavior. For example, if UserA is an approver and the job requisition recruiter, assigning a new user to be the recruiter using the Job Requisition detail page will not remove UserA permissions to access the job requisition.
