3147098 - Error 12308 with state 7 during index scan -- SAP ASE

Symptom

  • Error 12308 state 7 in ASE errorlog:
    Error: 12308, Severity: 21, State: 7
    Internal error : Invalid row id (Row row_number, Page page_number) encountered in the table 'table_name' in database 'database_name'.
  • Table in error 12308 message is a DOL table.
  • There exists another ‘Invalid column length’ message in errorlog from a different session during index scan.
