3147144 - After SAP Central Business Configuration is provisioned, it is not seen in the production SAP Identity Provision Source or Target systems

Symptom

SAP Central Business Configuration (CBC) entry is not shown in the production SAP Identity Provisioning (IPS) Source or Target systems to provision the IAS users to the CBC system.

Environment

  • SAP Identity Provisioning

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to the IPS Admin Console 
  2. View Source Systems
  3. View Target Systems
  4. CBC system is not found

Cause

This is expected behavior.

Resolution

The mentioned behavior is not an error, as there is no need to have a CBC entry in the production IPS and IAS. CBC entry will be available in SAP Cloud Identity Services test tenants. Please check Initial System Access to SAP S/4HANA Cloud in Your 3-System Landscape
