3147182 - Warning Message On Installing SAP Cloud Applications Studio (Pilot)

Symptom

You are installing new SAP Cloud Applications Studio installer and you receive following message:

  •  Please switch to the new SAP Cloud Applications Studio (Pilot) as the current SAP Cloud Applications Studio will be deprecated.

Environment

  • SAP Cloud Applications Studio
  • SAP Cloud for Customer
  • SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to SAP Cloud Applications Studio.
  2. Try to Connect to Repository.
  3. An warning message gets displayed

 "Please switch to the new SAP Cloud Applications Studio (Pilot) as the current SAP Cloud Applications Studio will be deprecated."

Cause

From the 2202 release, please start using the SAP Cloud Applications Studio (Pilot), as the SAP Cloud Applications Studio (Non Pilot) will be Deprecated from 2402 Release Onwards.

Resolution

Kindly use the SAP Cloud Applications Studio (Pilot) installer from the Software Download Center. If you face any issue with the SAP Cloud Applications Studio (Pilot), we recommend that you use SAP Cloud Applications Studio as backup, and in parallel, raise an incident with SAP.
