3147351 - You Are Unable to Release an Outbound Delivery Due to Error "Reference order item canceled"

You are trying to Release an Outbound Delivery, but when you click Release the system is displaying the error: "Reference order item canceled".

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Third-Party Logistics work center.
2. Go to 3PL Outbound Deliveries view.
3. Select "All Outbound Deliveries by Selection" and search for the relevant Outbound Delivery.
4. Click Edit.
5. Click Release.
6. You are presented with the error message: "Reference order item canceled".

You have canceled the Line Item in the Outbound Delivery and also Finished the 3PL Requests the Outbound Delivery was created against.

We see that you have created another 3PL Request and released same which is the reason you are not able to create a 3PL Request against the Line Item of the Outbound Delivery Request you have not canceled.

We recommend therefore that you cancel the existing Outbound Delivery and create a new one against the 3PL Request that is Released.

The system is working as designed.
