You are using Db2 LUW version 11.5MP4 or higher and would like to activate the Advanced Log Space Management (ALSM) features.
The ALSM functionality was introduced as of the 11.5MP4 release. The purpose of this function is to allow for long running transactions to be extracted from the current active transaction log in an effort to avoid a transaction log full error (SQL0964C) while still allowing the long running transaction to continue without being forced from the system.
