3148112 - Error saving global Home Address in Manage Business Configuration - Employee Central

Symptom

Following error appear when trying to change global home address in business configuration: 

"Data Model is not consistent: Please do not configure the HRIS element homeAddress only in Country Specific Succession Data Model, but also in Succession Data Model."

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Manage Business Configuration
  2. Click in homeAddress
  3. Try change label or add a rule.


Result: Data Model is not consistent: Please do not configure the HRIS element homeAddress only in Country Specific Succession Data Model, but also in Succession Data Model.

Cause

Is required to have at least 1 field configured in global home address, it does need to be enabled.

Resolution

  1. Go to Manage Business Configuration
  2. Click in homeAddress
  3. Add a field and save.
