3148134 - Review Employee Performance and Review Your Performance Engagement Cards on the Latest Home Page - Performance Management

Symptom

Managers and employees can now view the Review Employee Performance task and Review Your Performance task in the For You Today section on the latest home page.

Resolution

For you Today "Engagement Cards" section shows you other tasks you need to complete (besides approvals) and other content that's relevant to you. It's system-generated content that's displayed based on predefined business logic. As an administrator, you don't have to configure content in this section. Like approvals, many tasks in the For You Today section are also to-do tasks. When you complete them, they disappear from both the home page and the To Do List side panel. Or if a particular task isn't shown on the home page yet, you can still see it in the To Do List side panel.

For Performance Management forms, managers and employees can view the Review Employee Performance task and Review Your Performance task.

To view all the to do tasks, click on View All. For each card, you can choose to options Dismiss and Remind Me Tomorrow.

Choose Remind Me Tomorrow to temporarily move the task from the home page to the Reminders quick action. It reappears on the home page after 24 hours. Or you can Dismiss the card and remove it from the home page completely.

When will the cards appear?

After the upgrade to the latest home page, newly launched forms sent to your Inbox will be displayed in your home page. For the existing to-dos, the system follows a Lookback Period which is the time range considered while migrating To-Dos from old Home Page to Latest Home Page during the Universal push. 

For customers that Upgraded to Latest Homepage after 1H 2022 Release (April 2022 for Preview and May 2022 for Production), the Lookback Period is 365 days. This means only forms created and last modified within 365 days before the date of the upgrade will be displayed in the home page.

For migration done before 1H 2022, system would follow only 90 days lookback period.

NOTE: Last Modified Date is the latest Act by date in Form Info or audit trail. This is not the last modified date found in the Inbox.

When will the cards disappear?

The cards will expire in any of the following cases:

  • You complete your task and the form is no longer in your inbox.
  • 365 days after the due date, if no action is taken and a due date is set on the form.
  • 365 days after the Last Modified date, if no action is taken and no due date is set on the form.

Review Your Performance Task

Employees can go directly to the performance review forms from the home page to complete the tasks. In the Review Your Performance task, click on the Go To Form link to access your form. Note: For your own performance review tasks, your name and photo will not appear in the cards.


Review Employee Performance Task

For Managers, cards are grouped into Direct Reports, Matrix Reports, and Other on the stack view. This offers managers a more organized view of the forms that require their review.

NOTE:

If the form template name is changed after forms are launched, the name won't be changed on to-do tasks. It remains as the name upon the launch of the forms.
