3148145 - Decline Documents does not work for Crossboarding - Onboarding

The candidate was successfully initiated from Recruiting and began processing in Onboarding to complete the Additional Data Collection step. After this step, the Document Flow was triggered. However, the candidate selected "Decline Documents", expecting the activity to return to the Additional Data Collection step.

Instead, the system either moved the candidate to Manage Pending Hires or redirected them back to the homepage, which was not the expected behavior.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

The Decline Document / Decline E-Signature only works when the process has a personal data collection step. Since the crossboarding activity do not have Personal data collection step and has only Additional data collection the feature to decline of signature do not work here and the candidate is moved to Manage pending hire. 

Currently this is an expected behavior and as of the moment this cannot be configured/change as this is a product limitation. If you think that the behavior of this feature should be changed please raise an enhancement request instead by following KBA 2090228 - How to Submit Ideas for SAP SuccessFactors Products so that the product and engineering team can review this and possibly be added on the future updates of the system.
