3148333 - Critical Program Error with BI AddOn for GUI 7.70 Patch 200

Symptom

Critical Program Error happens when you open any query in BEx Analyzer with BI AddOn for GUI 7.70 Patch 200.

In Analyzer trace you can see:

System.Exception: CriticalProgramError ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
  at com.sap.bi.et.analyzer.addin.BExExcelApplication.OpenQueryThreaded(BExParameter iParameter)
  ...

 The issue is only observed with BI AddOn for GUI 7.70 Patch 200 and Office 365 build versions > 2102 like 2105, 2111, 2112 etc, and Office 2016.
